Moving On

This week has been filled with chores, errands and appointments. But I have managed to get a few things done.

I finshed this sampler at long last. I feel like I have been working on it since 1870. It was lost for awhile, but now it ready to go to the framer.

As I mentioned before, I am starting a stitch along and I am ready to go.

In the meantime I did get my fabric cut and started making some of the blocks for my new quilt.
So, I can work on it while I am waiting for the balance of the fabric to arrive. I guess I should get off this computer and get to work.

Plan B

Yesterday, I measured twice and I cut once, but I forgot that the fabric was doubled! So I had to reorder. Since I always have another project waiting in the wings, I will be working on this. It is Frost on the Ferns from the book "When the Cold Wind Blows" by Barb Adams and Alma Allen of Blackbird Designs. http://www.pickledish.com/
This month I also plan to start two sampler stitch alongs.

That's it for now I am off to the needlework shop to buy supplies. Have a great day!

Hello from Texas!

This is my first post. I am about to start a new quilt and I will post pictures along the way. Here are the fabrics I plan to use. The fabrics are from http://www.andoverfabrics.com/ and are designed by Renee Nanneman of http://www.needllovedesigns.com/ The quilt I am making is featured in the book "French Farmhouse."
