On My Way

This week I have accomplished quiet a bit.  I now have my second block of Lily Rosenberry completed only 2 more to go then the swag border.                                                                                            Lily Rosenberry 001

Recently I was part of a block swap and had a lot of small leftover pieces of indigos and shirtings.  So I decided to put those scraps to use.  I made this little quilt.  The Churn Dash blocks are 3 inch finished.  I am calling it Blueberries and Cream and I will hand quilt it.

Indigo Churn Dash

I  have tons of scraps and will probably use them up in other doll size quilts.  Do you use your scraps?

Until Next Time.

Beautiful applique & sweet blue doll quilt. Yes, I save all scraps that are at least 3/4". Love that little stuff!

Both of your projects are beautiful, Pat! Yep, I'm a scrappy girl, so I keep and use my scraps. They must be bigger than 2 inches square though. Keeping every tiny scrap is more headache than blessing at my house LOL :)

Love your Lily progress!
The doll quilt is adorable.
Yes, I save scraps and use them - but they seem to be accumulating faster than I can sew them up! I sort them by color and sometimes cut shapes ahead.
Thank you for sharing!
